Terralink International, the company that provides address and physical-location data to emergency services, has launched a new website to help ensure your home can be found quickly by fire, ambulance and police services.
Log on to www.myaddress.co.nz and enter your address. Confirm your address is correctly located on the map; if it’s not, update the information. You can also enter alternative “local” names for roads, suburbs, buildings or farms.
Any new information is verified by Terralink before being added to the database. It only takes a minute for you to check – but it could help save time and even your life in an emergency.
