We regularly run prize draws for our members. Here are the details of some recent winners.

Treasure Hunt competitions 

The winner of the Apple iPod Touch 8GB, as part of our Treasure Hunt competition during March 2012, was Mrs Erin Nicholson of Tauranga. The winner of the Apple iPad 32GB was Andrew Spence of Christchurch.

Flybuys subscribers

All those who subscribed using their Flybuys points were entered into a draw for a Canon Legria FS406 camcorder. The winner was B Milne of Hamilton.

Membership renewals

The prize winner for a Samsung Galaxy SII was drawn from those who renewed their Consumer membership in October 2011. Congratulations to T Holder of Rangiora.

Car reliability and car insurance survey

Thank you to all who took part in our 2011 survey of car reliability and car insurance. We had an excellent response from more than 11,000 members. The winners of our $500 cash draw were A Stewart and J York.

Energy providers survey

Everyone who took part in our June 2011 survey of electricity and gas companies was entered into a $500 cash draw. Congratulations to D Todd and M Tapsell.

Computer and printer reliability survey

Thank you to all who took part in our May 2012 survey of printer and computer reliability. The winners of our $500 cash draw were C Lally and R Baxter. Our findings on the reliability of computer and printer brands, and members’ satisfaction with the service they received from the retailer, will be published soon.

Appliance reliability survey

Thank you to all who took part in our 2012 survey of appliance reliability. We had an excellent response from more than 9000 members. The winners of our $500 cash draw were S Sherring and R Rolton.

Magazine member upgrades

With each issue of Consumer magazine we draw 3 magazine members' names and upgrade their subscriptions to include full access to consumer.org.nz for an additional year.

The winners of our May 2012 draw were C Grimes of Upper Hutt, J Tobeck of Cambridge and C Rose of Lawrence.

Magazine newsstand draw

The draw for a Samsung Galaxy S mobile phone was for those who bought our July 2011 Consumer magazine issue off newsstands. Congratulations to Mr J Dillon of Dunedin.
