Age Concern is running an online survey to ask people what they think about the rest home reports which the Ministry of Health has started publishing on its website.

These reports are brief summaries of rest home certification audits. The Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001 requires all rest homes to be audited to ensure they meet required standards.

Age Concern is asking people whether they think the summary reports are useful and what changes should be made to improve them. To have your say, go to www.ageconcern.org.nz. The survey closes on 6 November 2009.
