The customer service ratings displayed on Powerswitch come from the latest Consumer NZ survey of energy provider satisfaction, published December 2009.
About our survey
We surveyed members of consumer.org.nz during September 2009. We asked them about the overall performance of their energy provider, any problems they'd experienced and whether they had changed suppliers in the previous 12 months.
Over 13,000 of our members took part in the survey.
If a provider is listed as "not rated" in Powerswitch, it means:
- It is a new provider and so did not appear in the survey results, or;
- We did not receive enough responses about the provider.
Survey results
The survey results shown on Powerswitch are the percentage of respondents who rated their energy provider's performance as "good" or "very good".
The tables below show a summary of the results.

Shows the percentage of respondents who rated their supplier's performance as "good" or "very good".
The average line shows the percentage of all respondents rating their supplier's performance as "good" or "very good".
