The buckle of the booster seat may malfunction. In an emergency this defect could make it difficult to unbuckle a child quickly.

The following products are affected:

  • Baby Factory Edinburgh Travel booster seat
  • Baby Factory Deluxe booster seat

Sold through Baby Factory stores from 1 January 2010 to 31 January 2011. Manufacturing dates can be found on a sticker on the back of the seats.

What to do
Do not use the booster seat if there is any sign of buckle malfunction. All customers should contact their nearest store by phoning 0800 BABYFACTORY to arrange a new buckle. Call 09 274 4986 for more information.
