Goldair oil column heaters
The problem
A possible manufacturing fault has been identified. A faulty tip-over switch could cause a hole to form in the oil column. Subsequently, oil could leak out and possibly catch alight.
Details
The following models are affected:
- Goldair 7 fin oil column heater, model FOL507
- Goldair 9 fin oil column heater, model FOL509
- Goldair 11 fin oil column heater, model FOL511
Sold exclusively through Farmers stores between February 2009 and July 2009.
What to do
Cease using the heater immediately and contact 0800 232 633 for instructions on how to receive a replacement heater. For further information, email: heaters@goldair.co.nz
