Due to a faulty switch, the element inside the toaster may be live when the toaster appears to be off, posing a potential shock hazard.

The following products are affected:
- Homemaker 4 slice stainless steel toaster, model DHT-400, keycode 40615530
- Homemaker 2 slice stainless steel toaster, model DHT-100, keycode 40615592
Sold in Kmart stores from October 2008 to May 2011.
What to do
Cease using the toaster and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Call 0800 945 995 for more information.
