The problem
The pump may, over time, develop cracks in the outer insulation of the float switch and 240V electrical cables which could potentially result in an electric shock to the user.

Most pumps were sold through Blackwood Paykels stores from May 2008 to October 2009.

What to do
Stop using the pump, disconnect it from any power source and remove it from any wet or damp environment. Call 09 274 4603 or email pumprecall@karcher.co.nz to arrange a free replacement pump.
