LG side-by-side fridges
The problem
A poor earthing connection on the fridges may result in an electric shock to the user.
Details
The LG side-by-side fridges affected are:
- LG side-by-side non-dispenser, model numbers GC-B197WFI and GC-B196ACF
- LG side-by-side dispenser, model numbers GC-L197NFS and GC-P197WFS
With a serial number ranging from 904 to 906.
The fridges have been on sale from major retailers since May 2009.
What to do
Cease using the fridge and call 0800 665 010 to organise repairs to the fridge free of charge.
