Model G1100 with a product number beginning with RGS170 and a serial number between:
- 4000001 – 4000376 or
- 4010001 – 4015102 or
- 7000001 – 7002206 or
- 9000001 – 9000487.
Model G1700i with a product number beginning with RAS170 and a serial number between:
- 3000003 – 3000688 or
- 3010003 – 3021505 or
- 6000001 – 6017296 or
- 8000001 – 8004382.
What to do
Cease using the generators immediately and call 0800 MAKITA to arrange a replacement fuel tank free of charge.
