Mechpro air compressor
The problem
The air compressor may short circuit and overheat due to a manufacturing defect. Overheating in the compressor motor could lead to a potential fire risk.

Mechpro MP2540 2.5 HP air compressor, direct drive, 40-litre air tank.
Sold through Repco stores nationwide from December 2009 to October 2011.
What to do
Stop using the air compressor and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Call 0800 645 654 for more information.
