Onga Sump Pump
The problem
The stainless steel motor casing of the pump has the potential to crack, allowing water to enter the motor windings and cause an electric shock to the operator.
Details
Onga VF150 Sump Pump, serial numbers 1208 C00001 to 0609 C99999 (built Dec 2008 to Jun 2009). The serial number is located on the data label attached to the body of the motor.
What to do
Cease using the pump immediately. Return it to the place of purchase for a replacement or call 0800 654 112 with any enquiries.
