Recochem caustic soda
The problem
The 'arm' on the cap does not sufficiently lock with the lug on some bottles making some packages non-child resistant. Caustic soda is a corrosive chemical that can cause burns and eye damage if it comes into contact with skin and eyes or if the product is ingested.
Details
Recochem caustic soda 500gm, barcode/EAN: 9312852217965. Blue plastic bottle with white cap, with production dates June 2007 to January 2009. Dates are printed on the back label of the bottle. Products showing codes from 2007.06.01 to 2009.01.31 are included in this recall.
What to do
Cease use immediately and store safely. Ensure cap is secured tightly. Remove out of the reach of children and return to place of purchase for a full refund. For more information email: saleorders@recochem.com.
