The problem
Unstable internal pins in the dust interceptor may dislodge posing a risk of an electrical shock, burns, or in rare circumstances electrocution.
Details
Turbo Dust Interceptor, model number 31300479 (shown on the base of the box). Compatible with Wertheim vacuum cleaner models 6035, 6030, x5000, 3030T, 4430, 4410 and 4412.
Sold at Godfreys stores throughout New Zealand since 2008.
What to do
Cease using the unit and disconnect it from the hose of the vacuum cleaner. Once the attachment is removed, you can continue using your vacuum as normal. Return the attachment to the place of purchase for a full refund. Call 0800 282 288 for more information.
