Helmet label

The problem
The helmets have insufficient shock absorption and resistance to penetration in areas of the helmet which are critical (ventilation openings, rivets, synthetic applications) and may potentially cause serious injury to the rider when falling. The helmets do not comply with the Product Safety Standard.

Details
Uvex Funride ski helmet. The helmet is identified as a 'Funride' helmet if it bears label shown (right). It is sewn in the helmet inner lining near the left ear. 'Funride' helmets also have a central venting slider with two directional arrows.

What to do
Stop using the helmet immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Call 027 203 4004 or email info@trifour.co.nz for more information.
