We have just found out that a kiwi living overseas who has solicited money from investors (with lots of success) was declared bankrupt and has returned to NZ a number of times since. He and his parents are all bankrupt, set up shop overseas and continued to run business without any problem. So it seems you can amass huge debt, petition for bankruptcy go overseas and continue to con.... What the....
