- For gadgets and appliances you use often, rechargeable batteries are your best bet. They’re cheaper in the long run, perform very well, and are better for the environment than disposable batteries.
- Disposable alkaline batteries are still best for an emergency pack because they lose very little charge when stored for extended periods of time.
