We tested 8 benchtop ovens ... with mixed results.
If kitchen space is tight a benchtop oven could be tempting. Their compact size makes them convenient for a holiday home, a small kitchen, or someone living alone. But they do have drawbacks.
We weren't overly impressed by their performance – but the best two were excellent at roasting a whole chicken and did a good job of cooking a “ready-to-heat” pizza.
