My apologies, I had not read the following article on 'Chocolate', and got carried away.
Cadbury's gone down

I have to agree about the Cadbury. What I've noticed in the blocks lately, is a dry powdery texture, maybe the result of cutting down on real cocoa solids and replacing with something else? I'm not sure if it's the same in boxes of chocolates (as I have now turned to Wittakers for a better experience)but I think it should have been mentioned in the chocolate content issue. Along with that, the prices have not dropped along with the drop in product size... all a bit upsetting for those needing a bit of chocolate therapy at low cost :\

would be that they contain too many milk chocolate pieces and (even worse) white chocolate. True chocolate lovers go for dark chocolate that has a good balance between bitter and sweet.
Cadbury's chocs are downright disgusting

They weren't ten or so years ago when I started buying them for Christmas, but the last time I tried them (about two years ago) I decided I wasn't even going to buy them for "thank you" gifts any more. My friends and family deserve better than this. They lack flavour, the chocolate is way way too sweet and, to add insult to injury, it is very gritty. Cadbury's blocks of chocolate are just as bad (even before the palm oil fiasco).
