Diesel is only cheaper than petrol if you have a fuel-hungry car. Mine does 5l/100km and the $400 every 10000km road user charge means that I am paying over $2 per litre.
Go figure.

The AA are not longer associated with the Lemon website, so would be good to update!

Do you have any thoughts on extended warrants? Are they worth having for a car

Seat Belt Warranty

Our 2002 NZ NEW Subaru needs a new seat belt (drivers side has frayed webbing and not WOF standard now). I have been told by a friend overseas that in the US seatbelts carry a lifetime warranty - is this the case in NZ or are they limited to the 3 year warranty period like te rest of the car?
