No Safe Levels of Mercury.

It is interesting to say that there is too little mercury in lightbulbs to cause a major health problem. No amount of heavy metals are safe for the human body and can affect different people in a number of different ways. This has been illustrated for us after doing a mercury detox on our 7 year old son. He had been 'just not right' for years and now 'coincidentally' following detox is a different kid.
There are no mercury lightbulbs in our house!

Why cant retailers become collection points for old domestic CFLs and batteries? I don't know for sure but most people cant be bothered driving to the council collection places, so probably throw them out with the other stuff bound for the landfill.
