Fewer than half of Kiwi kids get their required dose of fruit a day and three out of five their recommended vegetables. And adults aren't any better.

The Ministry of Health recommends a minimum of five or more servings of fruit and vegetables every day - specifically three vegetables and two pieces of fruit.
