I agree with all the previous comments and would like to add another aspect that has arisen with other reports. The product number quoted seldom seems to be the same as the ones quoted with the retailers adverts. Does each store have their own number perhaps - if so that could be explained.
What I have discovered while shopping this week is that rotary shavers might be better for soft to average growth and foil shavers better for
coarser stubble. Also more blades on each head means fewer strokes over the same spot. Is that right guys? ( It's the expensive ones that have the 3 blades per head.).
And how about testing lady shavers one day soon. That would be great!
Another consumer review where the most expensive items are the best. Unsurprising. Consumer needs to realise we are not all cashed up and may want to buy something cheaper. Braun has a 90th anniversary special on Series 5 and Series 7 shavers until the end of September. From my searches, LV Martin has the best prices - almost 50% off. I got a 760CC for $259.99 instead of the RRP of $550.
This report is not comprehensive enough and I have not found it helpful at all. I would like to wider range of shavers tested and by a larger sample of people.
We have found the cost of replacing heads for a shaver expensive - the price for these being included would be helpful. Also keen to have cheaper brands tested
Given that you only have one person with each hair type, this basically descends into the realm of personal opinion, rather than being an objective comparison.
