I was at Bunnings yesterday looking for an extractor fan but on all the fans i looked at I couldn't find any performance data at all - not one said either air flow rates or motor wattage. Very frustrating!
We would really appreciate a test on bathroom heating. Especially 3 in 1 Extractor Fan/Heater/Light as well as Fan heaters v. Infra Red. Thanks

I installed a Manrose 150mm window mounted fan above my kitchen hob in January. The machine was held to the window by three screws - through an external louvre and L shaped posts holding the glass - into the body. Unfortunately the plastic molding linking the posts to the body failed and the fan fell off. Mitre 10 Mega in Henderson acknowledged my purchase from them and contacted their supplier. The suppliers reaction was that I had tightened the screws too tightly. They have refused to replace the unit.
However, the plastic moulding failed - not the posts through which the screws go - possibly because of the strain on them from the pull cord.
Has this been a problem with any one else. I have heard from a Mitre 10 employee that this has happened with the unity before.

What would the approx cost be If I were to get a window mounted extractor fan (approx $215) then will I need an electrician and a glazier? If there was a dwelling upsatirs from the shower would a ceiling fan be an option? This is a very, very small shower, toilet.

Hi, Definitely keen on a comparison of models.
