when your side fence is the boundary between you and a Council walkway and the fence reaches a state of disrepair. Can you expect the Council will pay half of the cost of a like replacement fence.

I have a neighbour who wishes to only pay for a wire or wirenetting fence, in town. The Schedules in the Fencing Act cite more substantial fences. Has case law or the Act defined adequate better than this article?

The fence on the boundary is starting to lend over towards my side. It looks like the posts need to be reposted as they are either rotten or were not dug in deep enough. Sooner or later the fence is going to fall over onto my property. The posts are on my neighbours side.
Who pays and can the fencer go onto their property to do the repair?
I have found this particular neighbour abusive in the past. What do I do to resolve this problem?

My neighbour has several constructions that use our fence as it core infrastructure. One is a shade house covering some 20m2 (this has broken the fence) and another a part tin shed about 3.5m in height. Addtional for some 5m along the fence is firewood stacked about 2m deep/3m high which is also pushing the fence over. I really need to know my right before I approach them to discuss repairs.

We have a neighbour who won't contain the weeds to the extent they are pushing over the boundary fence. We have had to damage the fence in order to cut back weeds, she threatens to call police if we step on her property. We need to repair and strenghen the fence. Help, what can we do???
