Thinking of purchasing a steamer shortly but noticed this product review is over 2 years old now. Consumer can you update please! Also anyone with recommendations for me would be much appreciated.

I have a GF3TS. The base is not as shown in your photo but looks like the photo shown for GF3TSM. Either you have mixed the models up or the manufacturer is labelling them indiscriminately. You state that on neither model is the basket base detachable. On mine it is and each base is specific to a particular basket - which can be a nuisance.
