Bodies under construction

Had a bad experience with bodies under construction inWellington. Were great t begin with but since ive wanted to cancel my account i have had no response to 3 emails enquiring how long is left on my membership or even a single acknowledgement of my emails.
Will certainly not recommend to any colleagues looking for a gym in Wellington.
Unreasonable gym memberships

My son contracted into a 3 year gym membership (1 year ago) - because it was the only way it was affordable. He hasn't really used it and doesn't want to keep it any longer. The gym (Sportswide) does not have an 'early exit clause'and thus will not allow him to be released from a further 2 years membership of a gym he doesn't want to go to. This seems extremely unreasonable on a contract of 3 years. Even banks have 'get out' clauses, why won't a gym?

I've seen gym memberships advertised on TradeMe - you may be able to on-sell his membership.
