Handpresso is now available in New Zealand as a ground coffee version. ie. Fine grind beans can be used. Like any espresso machine, the result will depend upon the quality of grounds (freshly ground beans from a good quality grinder grinder should be used), tamp pressure and water temperature between 90-96 degrees all combining to deliver a shot of espresso measuring 20-25mls in 20-25 seconds. (This all sounds complex, but is the proven 'science' behind a good shot of espresso. The Handpresso can achieve this, when you get a good shot it is simply incredible!! An amazing piece of simple technology.
