I've just read your report on these for my elderly mother who is considering buying these. Is there any information about one of the most important aspects of food i.e. taste?

Hi Peter, We tasted the chicken curries (see "As good as the real thing?") and found they were generally disappointing. The chilled and shelf-stable curries were better than the frozen ones - this is likely to be true of other heat-and-eat meals. The chilled meals (from brands like Wishbone and 2Go) certainly looked more home-made than their frozen counterparts but they're also more expensive. Kind regards, Libby Manley Technical Writer
