cannot understand the concerns about loss of security if one loses their BNZ key guard.
What does that matter because whoever finds it still needs to know your log on account number and password. I think it is great and the key guard is only credit card size so fits in wallet easily.

I regualarly access accounts with ANZ, Westpac, BNZ, and KiwiBank. Neither ANZ nor Westpac have ever offered two factor identification. The BNZ key guard card thing is a total annoyance because it has to be stored securely to protect your account, but taken with you in your wallet if you want to access your account way from home. KiwiBanks's system seems by far the most secure and usable solution: defeating keyloggers by clicking a random 2 letters.
