Irons with auto-cut off are now a reasonable price. We put six to the test.
Some irons automatically cut off if they're not used for a while - so they're much safer, especially if small children are around. We made sure all the irons in our latest test had this feature.
We also explain what to look for when you're choosing a new iron and provide some safety tips.
