I have a fall detector supplied by Bupa, as I am unable to use my hands (because of MS). I can sort of pull it over if needed. It would be better if they had something which could be activated with a "buddy button" clipped to my collar, as I have one to answer my (adapted) phone, and it is ideal. I answer the phone quickly and easily by pressing the button with my chin.
We are tied into the Bupa system as we live in a Bupa retirement village. However I had an alarm with the firm (Guardian Health Care, which was bought by Bupa) long before we came here.
I have no major complaint with the system, just wish for improvement as listed above. I am fond of technology, and am only too happy to take it on board.
