I've got the Nokia X6 and please don't buy it as it is rubbish: the screen freezes at random and I don't have any applications on. Whilst I'm texting it's deleting at random. GPS takes a while to connect to a satellite sometimes i.e. 30mins - 1hr. Even if the battery is fully charged, the phone switches itself off. The autolock key will break after sometime and you'll have to pry it open on the side to unlock your phone.
I spoke to Vodafone and Digital Mobile after I had the phone looked at for the same problems with the screen freeze, texting and deleting etc and they replied that it's the manufacturers problem to sort the problem out 3 times before taking your problem to next step. Nokia will only replace my phone with another Nokia brand and I don't buy that as I don't want another Nokia phone as I'd like to try another brand. They may offer to replace the phone but not a refund and that's at their descretion.
I will take my phone back to the store and quote the CGA and demand for another brand.
Manufacturers will have to look at the same problem 3 times before they do anything and that's their policy. I will quote the CGA and let you guys know how I've done.

We purchased a Sony Ericsson Zylo and seven months later the screen only has the back light glow. This is the second mobile phone that has not last the distance and it is irritating that technology is so flimsy, particularly when good money is paid for these things. This seems to be a problem for some phones and I wonder whether Consumer should also have a section about this as well as the technical information.
Good advice

It's appalling that retailers and people have bought into the fact that the consumer should pay $50~$60 fee to have their phone even looked at.
This shouldn't be the case. Exercise your rights under the CGA and hopefully the retailers and repairers realise that they can't get away with it.
