Nieghbourhood association Posted by: John H 13 Mar 2012 7:02pm

I recommend people join a local neighbourhood assn, otherwise it is little you against all the noisey yobbo's.
The City Councils are fence sitters, they see noisey parties as a grey area .

If you have troublesome nieghbours you find out who the realestate agent is and they have to deal with it or loose their license- you won't find that out on a Council web site you'll find it at your neighbourhood assn.

Noise Posted by: maxamillion 25 Jul 2011 8:05pm

When people have parties in there garage and noise control cant hear it from the street then its okay. I have had this problem and because noise control think its okay then I have to live with it. Noise at night when your trying to sleep should be controled down low. People who like loud music dont care. They are too deaf anyway from the music. Time the council viewed this again. As noise of music has changed since the 60's. More base love to know other people thoughts.

Reasonable noise? Posted by: Darryl Payne 13 Jul 2010 12:34am

Your reports are all based around those who have to "put up with noise" and not those who get accused of making a noise which is made at reasonable times at reasonable levels given the circumstance and taking into account anyone who may be affected, but still gets a visit from an NCO. How about being less biased it works both ways, there is just no pleasing some people.
