Felco secateurs Posted by: Mike Palmers 13 Dec 2009 12:03am

As a professional horticulturalist I have always found that felco's out perform all others for duraability and ease of maintenance and if necessary to replace any part. My current pair has done nearly 15 years of work, about due for a new blade. They do open wider and suit larger hand sizes.

Bahco P126-19 Posted by: Rhys Rosenburgh 20 Jun 2009 4:17pm

I recommend the Bahco secateurs . I have been using secateurs for at least 15 years. The bahco ones last a long time. I have used the Mc Gregors m740. They are only ok. They are not very good if you have large hands. This report does not test how long the secateurs last. How about testing the same secateurs after a year of being used.
