Network diagram not right.

You are only describing how to get a printer shared that's attached to one of the (Win) computers. But your little drawing shows a box in the network, that looks like a network print sharer. I was hoping you would explain how to get those to work.

If only it was that simple! I've gone through this process a thousand times and there's now way I can get it to work
Both PC's are running XP, I've got the latest drivers installed-but nothing happens. Ah well thanks for your input

Thanks, very useful, but can I have the printer in the office and the laptop on the verandah without a mile of cordage?
