Hopefully , any upcoming review will include other sound bars , such as Panasonic and Philips .
In the meantime I am having to put up with the poor sound my 37" Panasonic Television offers.
I sure don't want to fork out for a home theatre system , though.
A modest price solution is sought...

I own an older model of these (YSP-800) and am really pleased with it. I went from a lounge full (2 big floorstanding 'cerwin vegas' with wires to 2 rear speakers, centre speaker, amplifier and subwoofer, plus an old 29 inch standard tv on an entertainment unit) to what I have now - lcd tv and a yamaha sound projector mounted on the wall with a subwoofer hidden beside my couch. Sound is great. It creates a very satisfying movie watching experience. Some important things to note are: I wouldn't want this model without a subwoofer, and use the toslink optical inputs not composite (makes a HUGE difference)
