I totally agree with Julie Cathcart. I never buy home brand products for that exact issue. You never know what is in it. It's about time that there was regulation around detailed labelling. I also look at labelling to see where it's produced and packaged. I don't mind paying a little more for peace of mind.

I'm concerned that more and more of the 'home brand' products I see on the shelves and in the freezer compartment are from China. I would like to see proof that these products don't contain excessive amounts of lead, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides etc.
