Unsafe toys are still ending up on shop shelves.

Toys with unsafe levels of lead were banned in 2007. But they're still being found on shop shelves. Kids' face paint containing a banned ingredient has also been discovered in stores.

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs identified these products in a testing project it carried out during 2009. A report documenting the project's findings was released to Consumer under the Official Information Act. The findings have provided the basis for further testing by the ministry and more results are due to be released before the end of 2010. Here's what we know so far.
