Is there any real difference between cheap and expensive shoes? We decided to find out.
We bought three pairs of similar black heels with very different price tags - ranging from $30 to $200 a pair. We 'road-tested' the shoes, then sent them to be pulled apart in a lab to assess their construction and find whether price really matters.
