Rural areas Posted by: LynneH 07 Jan 2010 2:28pm

Most of your information is for makes and models for urban areas. I wanted to compare a Metro Wee Trad,Dante RU and Bronte Top Outlet RU.
I believe the wetbacks on the Firenzo are positioned differently to the Metro and wanted Consumer comments on which is more efficient, no such luck.

Not enough information! Posted by: bapplo 29 Oct 2009 12:05pm

How am I supposed to make a decision based on these facts - and why on earth hasn't the feedback from all of us paying customers not been responded to???

Heat output data Posted by: Consumer Staff 06 Oct 2009 10:39am

Hi,

Thanks for your queries.

Heat output data is still months away - if we can get it at all. This is because no one organisation within New Zealand has a complete list of these figures. They have to be obtained from each individual manufacturer. We are currently in the process of negotiating with the Home Heating Association to collect this information.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

no heat output Posted by: Mandy Barron 05 Oct 2009 9:12pm

I too am very disappointed that no heat outputs are listed, having just signed up online specifically for this article. If I could have seen people's comments I wouldn't have bothered subscribing, feel a bit ripped off which is ironic.

Consumer not responding? Posted by: Arne Herrmann 01 Sep 2009 9:30pm

It seems that many of us feel the same way about the lack of useful information in this section and unfortunately it seems that Consumer is not taking real notice of our comments and no concerted effort is made to increase the service to us subsribers. Very unfortunate, will let my wallet do the talking.
