Login problems

To access the member-only sections of consumer.org.nz and the My Consumer account management features, you need to enter your email and password.

Can't login...?

• Have you joined?
  Before you can login, you have to join consumer.org.nz or have an account with us. You choose your password as part of the joining process.
• Does your browser accept cookies?
  To login you must accept a temporary cookie from us. If your browser is set to refuse cookies, you won't be able to login.

Forgotten your password?

If you have forgotten your password, we'll send you an email with a link to reset you your password.

Simply click here and enter your e-mail address.

Note that this should be the e-mail address you provided us when you originally joined. If you have changed e-mail address and have not updated your consumer.org.nz account, you won't be able to use this password retrieval service.

Access suspended?

If you attempt to login unsuccessfully more than 10 consecutive times, access to the site under this email will be temporarily suspended. In this situation, please try again later or contact our customer service staff for assistance.

Automatic Login

When enabled on a computer, our automatic login feature means that members don't have to manually login each time they visit consumer.org.nz from that computer.

To enable this feature, simply check the box labelled "Log me in automatically" that appears on the login page. You can turn this feature off at any time by logging out.

Your browser must be set to accept permanent cookies for this feature to work.

Important!

You should not use the automatic login feature unless you are the only person who has access to the computer.

Never enable this feature on a public access computer - this could allow other people to access the site under your login and access your consumer.org.nz account details.
