Upgrading your magazine membership


If you're already a member of Consumer magazine, you'll enjoy even more benefits by upgrading to a premium membership.

How much does it cost to upgrade?

An upgrade to a premium membership costs around $2 for each full month remaining on your current Consumer magazine membership. 

How does your new premium membership renew?

We will send you an email reminder at least two weeks before your premium membership expires.

If you want to renew you need to do nothing - your premium membership will automatically be renewed and charged to your chosen credit card. If you want to change or cancel your membership, it's easy to do this online, or by contacting our Customer Services team. 

How to upgrade


By phone

You can upgrade your membership by contacting our customer service team directly on 0800 266 786  between 8.30am and 5.00pm (New Zealand time), Monday to Friday.

Online

You can upgrade your membership online at any time.

  • First, you need to have a consumer.org.nz online account.
    If you don't currently have an active online account, you can activate your account here.
     
  • Once you have an online account, go to the Change membership page of My Consumer. (You'll need to login first.)
