Kate Tokeley, senior lecturer in law at Victoria University of Wellington, has been elected to the Consumer NZ board.
She joins Jon Duffy (Trade Me head of Trust and Safety) and Marie Shroff (former Privacy Commissioner), who were re-elected.
This year there were 3 vacancies, contested by 8 candidates. Oscar Alpers retired after serving 2 terms.
The other 4 board members are:
- Richard Aston, CEO of Big Buddy, Auckland;
- Sue Kedgley, local body politician and former Green MP, Wellington;
- Paul Larson, pharmacist, Dunedin;
- Ann Court, local body politician, Kerikeri.
