She joins Jon Duffy (Trade Me head of Trust and Safety) and Marie Shroff (former Privacy Commissioner), who were re-elected.

This year there were 3 vacancies, contested by 8 candidates. Oscar Alpers retired after serving 2 terms.

The other 4 board members are:

  • Richard Aston, CEO of Big Buddy, Auckland;
  • Sue Kedgley, local body politician and former Green MP, Wellington;
  • Paul Larson, pharmacist, Dunedin;
  • Ann Court, local body politician, Kerikeri.
