Nominations are open for Consumer NZ’s annual Bad Taste Food Awards. Last year, Nutri-Grain won the “popular” vote – our members were infuriated it was marketed as a healthier option even though it was more than a quarter sugar.
Other offenders included 98% almond-free almond milk, Gatorade and Powerade sports drinks with their sizeable sugar hits, and Heinz Little Kids Fruit & Veg Shredz, which were nearly 70% sugar.
What’s your pick for this year? Nominations can be made using the form below or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nominations close Tuesday, 24 October 2017.
