The problem

The wooden egg-shaped maraca may come apart at the join, releasing its internal small plastic or metal balls. These pose an ingestion or choking risk for children.

The pink and blue wooden eggs were sold through Kidstuff, Baby Kingdom, ABC Shops and independent retailers from September 2013 until December 2013.
