The problem

Thule has recalled two of its Sprint bike carriers. A defect in the clamping mechanism could cause your bike to come loose from your vehicle.

Details

Affected bike carriers were sold at stores in Auckland, Wellington, Manawatu and Canterbury from March 2015 to March 2016.

The models affected are:

  • Thule Sprint, model #528
  • Thule Sprint, model #569000

What to do

Stop using your Sprint carrier immediately. Visit the Thule dealer where you purchased the carrier, to return the product and register for a free improved replacement Sprint carrier.
