The problem

3M has recalled their Secure Fit Eyewear 200 Series. If something hits the glasses, the arms could break off. This could cause an eye injury.

Details

The model being recalled is:

  • 3M Secure Fit Eyewear 200 Series, SF201AF-AS, Lot number 14192

The product was being sold from 15 August 2014 to 31 March 2015.

The 3M Asbestos/Dust Respirator Kit 7535 (small, medium, and large) also contains the 3M Secure Fit Eyewear 200 Series.

What to do

Check eyewear packaging for the affected Lot number (14192), which is located below the barcode on the bottom right corner of the packaging label. If your product has Lot number 14192, or if it was purchased after 15 August 2014, immediately cease use and return to place of purchase for replacement or full refund.

If you require further information please contact 3M New Zealand Limited on 0800 252 627 or 3MNZssdg@mmm.com.
