Harvey Norman has recalled its Aero Quik Kettle. A fault can activate a defective reset switch, allowing the elements to turn back on instead of shutting the kettle down. This could cause a fire.
Affected Aero Quik Kettle models were sold from 20 July 2016 to January 2017 at Harvey Norman stores. Some kettles were also sold by STM Group (distributor).
The kettle is black and can be identified by the code AEROQUIKKETTLEB.
If your kettle was purchased after 20 July 2016, immediately stop using it and disconnect it from the power supply.
Return the kettle to Harvey Norman for a refund or replacement.
