The problem

Havoline Xtended Life Anti-freeze/Coolant Concentrate and Caltex Extended Life Coolant Concentrate Anti-freeze are being recalled because the packaging doesn’t have a child-resistant cap.

Details

The products are an ethylene glycol based anti-freeze/coolant recommended for use in petrol and diesel engines.

The products were sold in 1 litre bottles from Caltex Service Stations, The Warehouse, RD1 and Caltex Lubricant Distributors between 10 May 2009 and 23 Oct 2015.

What to do

Customers must return any bottles (opened or un-opened) to the point of purchase and will receive a refund. If customers can’t immediately return the product, please store it on a sturdy shelf at a height above 1.5 metres until it can be returned.
